Take Off and Autoland

    Hello folks,
First of all the plane is amazing. I really enjoy the vnav on descent, the aircraft flies very good and it does not over speed.
My only issue is on take off the plane veers off the runway to the right doesn't stay stable.. I'm not sure why that is...
And the second issue I've found is before this update auto landing was smooth... at about -150fpm... right now it got me a -329 fpm. Other than that.. the plane is great.... Can't wait for more updates... Thank you for your hard work... I can finally get rid of the kuro one :D

    1. Hello Anton,

Thank you for your kind words, as it's truly appreciated! In regards to the veering off, did you try trimming the rudder? It could also be wind wherever you are departing from. Lastly, in regards to the autoland, you do have to factor in any crosswind, weather conditions, etc. However, I will bring this up with our team, and we'll go from there. Besides those small inconveniences, we're glad to hear you're having a blast with the aircraft!

          Thank you for replying.
Before the update it was not doing the veering, but yet again I’m on the road (truck driver) and using a laptop . Don’t really have a controller with me. The only time I do is when I’m home, so while im on the road I highly depend on the autopilot … it would be nice if you guys can fix it in the future :) thank you :)
My second autoland at kdfw the plane slammed at -500 fpm and turned to the left with autopilot still engaged I just disarmed the auto throttle . It used to keep the center line before the update and was touching down nicely .

          1. That's very interesting. I never experienced any veering off or anything of that nature. I will bring this up with the rest of the team and we'll go from there. I will included the autoland as well, I'm not too familiar with using it since I've never had the need to. Thank you for letting us know about this!

Anton, did the 787-10 do it right?

Yes the Asobo , Kuro , and Horizon do it right . Even the 747-8 does it right .

                    1. Thanks. We are updating the plane flight model on Update-2 So I'll have to make sure to do my tests.

Sorry to jump on this older post. I have recently purchased the B789 and everytime I take off the aircraft veers to the right. How do you mean by trimming the rudder? I can see the know goes lieft/right.

                      1. Hi @jordanf93

We know about this. We fixed it several months ago, but it had unintended consequences for the aircraft, so the change was reverted. Flight modeling tasks are taking extremely seriously, so I do not want to rush into finding a quick solution. This needs to be revised once the big update is released. Another thing we'll fix is that the rear gears do not ground immediately at touchdown—these two things we have to find a solid final fix. Once I get these big updates out, then it will be easier to focus on these delicate tasks.
