Some bugs/ requests:
Hi, great job with the plane, really looking forward to its continued development! Here are a few bugs I found and some requests.
-
I noticed a problem with the left and right rear elevator/stabilizers being different sizes. Here is a picture showing the difference: https://imgur.com/a/BFMX7eY
-
Another issue is with the beacon light, for some reason it lights up in the inside of the engine but I don't think there is a line of sight for the beacon light to shine in there and I also think it is too bright: https://imgur.com/WbD3tmf
Some requests:
- GSX profile
- Option to open and close all doors individually
- Engine wobble, like the Asobo 787 model
- For the wing flex, I think it could use a bit more refining as it is not a very smooth flex and there is a clear spot where it bends in the middle: https://imgur.com/Y2esVV1
Vance @AV8OR2024-06-21 00:07:12.760ZHello Batata,
We thank you for the positive feedback! In regards to the bugs, I'll discuss this with the rest of the development team and go from there. Currently, the head of BravoAirspace (Francis) is at FlightSimExpo 2024 in Las Vegas. Meaning that he will be absent for a few days. However, I will be sure to bring this up with the other testers to see if they've got the same bugs.
Thank you for your understanding,
BravoAirspace Team

I went ahead and got the plane for myself, and the plane is very well done from what I've seen!
I'd like to share my requests, In addition to the requests mentioned by the OP.
- Improvement to the engine fan blade animation. Fan blades rotate too quickly on startup when they should slowly and gradually rotate up to speed.
- Engine spinner disappears at higher engine RPMs.
- Rear landing gear tilts forward before retraction and vice versa, like the real aircraft does when extending or retracting the landing gear.
Vance @AV8OR2024-06-22 03:05:03.974ZHello,
Thank you for giving us your suggestions. We will certainly look into these! I will talk this over with the rest of the team.
In reply tobatata⬆:Francis @LeadDeveloper2024-06-24 14:44:12.724ZGood points there guys @hmmthonkyes
Regarding the stabilizer, they are the same size. It's how they are seen.
I will try to fix the beacon lights inside the engine this week for the lighting hotfix on update 1. Beacon lights are normally strong unless you can show me the opposite.
Doors control is pending. We know what to do about it. Give us a moment for that.
Engine wobble will probably come on update-3.
The wing flex is a bit clunky in some spots, I know. The Asobo model is easier to do flex work on it as it's already pre-done. But he had some issues with these wings, no doubt.
Engine fan animation, I think this can be refined for sure.Engine spinners disappear; we will get that rolling for Update 2.
Regarding the rear landing gear tilting forward, I will have to review this because I don't see an issue at this moment.
Thanks guys!
Thanks for looking into these and loving the plane so far! I do think the rear stabilizers are very clearly different sizes or positioned wrong at least, please see the comparison pics here: https://imgur.com/a/lpf6H1N
For the beacon lights, my issue is that during the day, they shouldn't be this bright when reflected on the engines for example: https://imgur.com/a/SsNcaeq
In the pushback video you posted, you can't see the beacon reflected at all on the engine. One more point, can the top of the colored engines also be colored? This is for a few of the liveries and I haven't noticed any of them are white irl here: https://imgur.com/a/0JgAnlt
Francis @LeadDeveloper2024-06-25 11:22:05.564ZAbsolutely great points. Specially the engine color.
The beacon light during the day is out of my control as MSFS operates this way.
And stabilizers seem to be a bit higher than the other one.
You have GREAT eyes.I will revise all of these for update-2.

I have some more requests that I'd like to get on here.
- Possibility to separate the GE and RR engine options in the aircraft selection menu (Similar to the Horizon 787-9.)
- Improved modeling for the GENX engine. The high bypass fan and engine spinner model appear to be the same between both engine types, other than the texturing.
- The RR engine spinner cone could use improvements in its modeling as well. Not sure how to describe it but it isn't a perfect cone and when spinning you can see the tip of the cone moving slightly up and down instead of staying in its original position, other than rotating of course.
Francis @LeadDeveloper2024-06-29 00:39:47.638ZHi @hmmthonkyes ,
Great points...
The only point I disagreed with is GE and RR engines division in the hangar isn't necessary because you are choosing the airline and each airline has an engine type assign to them.GENX engine blades can be fixed, that's an easy one and I apologize for letting that slide by. I noticed it a long time a go but didn't take notes. This will be added onto Update-2.
RR Engine blades isn't sharp/pointy enough?
I will fix the wobbling on the fan blade animations on update-2.
Thank you for bringing these up.
- H@hmmthonkyes
Good point on the engine type division. Thanks for looking into it though!
When it comes to the engine modeling, the RR engines don't need any changing as I think they're already good as is other than one thing.
My only issue with the RR model is that the cone wobbles a small amount, which is only noticeable when the engine is running. The behavior is most noticeable if you pay attention to the tip of the cone and are viewing the front of the engine from the cabin. I don't think I described it very well in my last post. It's good to see that the GE engines will get the improvements they need in a future update. The other difference I'd like to point out is that the engine spinner cone itself is more short and stubby compared to the RR.
Here is an image I've found compared to a screenshot I took, which should highlight the shorter and stubby design of the engine cone alongside the slightly different fan blades. Hope this helps!
Thanks for taking note of all these requests, it's awesome that the team continuously looks to improve the plane! :)
Vance @AV8OR2024-07-01 15:30:34.575ZThank you for bringing this to our attention, we appreciate your feedback! We will certainly look into this. Do keep in mind we're working on more updates for the aircraft, so some more things will be improved and refined over time.
Thank you,
BravoAirspace

GE engine cone will be added to next updates. But I can make it longer like your image. My images show it shorter.
- H@hmmthonkyes
The new cone shape is looking a lot better already!
I think the only thing that needs to be added is the base portion of the cone. I attempted to highlight what the base is and the kind of shape it has in the following image.
It's not the best but I hope it helps.
Additionally, on my first post in the thread with the third request I made,
Rear landing gear tilts forward before retraction
I found a video showcasing the 787's landing gear swing where you can observe the behavior of the main bogies tilting forward before and after retraction.
Francis @LeadDeveloper2024-07-01 22:41:51.762ZThe gear animation I will leave it for another update, ,most likely number three.
Jake Gilson @jggilsonhi francis, is there any incline for when you are targeting release for update 2, Also another question, Is there any possibilities to add more cabin less liveries, I found that it has really helped performance on my series s,
Many thanks in advanced
Francis @LeadDeveloper2024-07-02 00:03:17.116ZCabin less worked out for you? That's good to know.
So, update-2, which is a fragile step where a large number of new methods will be implemented to our workflow, will help create more cabin-less aircraft.
The release date of update-2 is unknown, but the faster I finish it, the better because we have a list of work pending.
The deal with Update-2 is that it will need constant testing. We don't wish to break the plane as this upcoming process will make her vulnerable.
Jake Gilson @jggilsonMany thanks for that francis!
