Sometimes people don't notice that the post is meant to share their thoughts on things they would like to see implemented into our products. The forum is mainly for those who find bugs/issues, but we have tried in the past to make a thread for people to post their ideas on what could be added to the 787-8. In addition, if you have any suggestions, feel free to drop them in a new post, we'd love to hear about them! Some people prefer Discord as the main platform, and others are fine with it being moved over to the forum.

Making the COMM page functional and ACPT CANC RJCT keys functional. Make the COMM page alive using Hoppie ACARS as horizonsim have already done and I would love to see it here

The default camera in 787-10 and 4Simmers default camera is level. But the 787-8 camera is pointed down by default. It’s incredibly annoying and awkward. Really difficult when landing. Any updates or info about changing the textures to help with in game rendering when flying the 787-8? Between 6,000 - 18,000ft the rendering is really Bad. I’ve tested all 3 models of the 787 available on console and BVA has the worst performance and rendering. Thank you guys for all your hard work! I really want to use this plane. But the small little quirks like the over dirty cockpit, the incredibly dirty windows make it VERY DIFFICULT to see, seeing how they are already auto tinted, please change the window cleanliness guys. Please. The tire color kills immersion. I’m not able to enjoy this plane like it’s designed. It’s far superior than the default 787! Sounds, flight model and cabin design. But falls short in the areas of functionality, ease of use and ascetics. I promise you guys I’m not ragging on you guys. I respect and support everything you guys do. But I’ve been flying the 787 since release of MSFS 2020 and I know this plane and coding like one of my kids. I begged you guys to get on the testing team before release even showed my flight log and the over 180+ 5+ hour long haul flights I had completed with the 787. If the heads down camera and rendering issues are addressed then in my opinion this would make the plane way better. Just my opinion.

Camera
Regarding the camera facing down, that's not us. The pilot's standard camera looks straightforward. Are you perhaps using the same bindings on this aircraft as on another?
Please take a look at the YouTube and Twitch videos from other users as well as ours; this is not the default.There's multiple cameras for flying, have you check them out? tap up and down on the controller d-pad.
The game rendering at high altitudes also seems to happen with other aircraft. This memory issue applies to most glass cockpit aircraft on Xbox. Mandatory updates have been hurting the console with worse outcomes.
Cockpit
A dirty cockpit is a regular experience in the real world. These machines, designed to make a profit, become workhorses as soon as the aircraft is delivered to the company.
So, as you would understand, wherever we can be realistic, we go ahead and proceed to add it to our aircraft. But this is what pilots deal with at work: a dirty cockpit, dust, crumbs, hair, and who knows what else. I've seen exclusive images of an airliner cockpit, and it's filthy. Basically, there's a reason for our approach.We do want to clean cockpits, but please wait for update 2.
Do not expect a completely clean aircraft, but a 50% cleaner option than the other current option. But there might be more options to this.Tires
In real life, the tires are either dark or exhausted. We went with exhaustion. Also, the color changes a bit depending on the time of day. But I believe in having darker and cleaner gear at hand. We just have to release it.We can attempt to improve as much as possible to reduce memory consumption. But the reality is that when this plane was released, Flight Simulator was a better game on console. Unfortunately, a month later, mandatory updates slowly strangled it to the point that it hurt all of us on Xbox.
We do have strict plans to do aggressive optimization but this was planned for update-3. Update 2 has taken longer because its complex. Update-3 is most likely max 2 weeks of labor.

An EFB would be fantastic, including (not limited to):
- Door management
- Simbrief plan
- Performance planning (takeoff, landing, etc)
- Ground maintenance

If memory serves me correctly there was an EFB, as I was brought in after the 787-8 went through some changes. I believe it was removed due to performance limitations. However, there may be a way we could implement one for a future update. We at BravoAirspace are doing our utmost best to make sure we provide top notch quality and performance as best and suitable as possible. I will definitely get back to you on this, as I think it would be a great addition for an update down the line.
