Are there any other troubleshooting options for the 787 on Xbox?
Hi, I play on Xbox series s and I was wondering if there are any other troubleshooting options for the Dreamliner. I bought this plane a while back and I’ve only gotten maybe 3 full flights out of it. Every time I attempt to fly it, my screens usually go black or my game just crashes during any phase of flight. From just the startup to post landing. I’ve tried the troubleshooting options but nothing seems to work for me. From the few full flights I’ve had it’s seems like a great plane but I just can’t seem to avoid the problems.

I haven't been able to make successful flights since June, but I've had many S users be successful at it. Everything changed completely in June. Honestly, it's territory that we don't possess control over the 787 systems.
I know it's frustrating, especially because it's fun to fly her. She gets the job done, and the new updates will increase her value even further.How does the 787 optimized version work for you?
The optimized version definitely makes a difference for me. My game is noticeably smoother. Despite the issues I’m at least able to get to a takeoff. However the regular versions, from my experience at least, I load in with black screens/and or crash almost immediately. I honestly think this is also a Working Title issue as you said because the default asobo 787 has the same issues. It’s definitely a step up from the asobo though for sure. Visually, handing wise, and performance.
Vance @AV8OR2024-08-22 14:42:48.770ZYep, it's mainly Working Title as well as well as a memory issue the console has in and of itself. We're glad to hear that the optimized version works better in terms of performance.

Moving forward, aggressive optimization is planned for update 3. I will see what I can do on update 2.

1. Turn off all traffic including flora and funa and workers density.
2. Turn off rolling cache if you have a fast internet connection.
3. Turn off photogrammetry, especially on Xbox, it’s unavailing and doesn’t even load in accurately. It’s very heavy on the memory and found Turing this off to be a massive benefit when it comes to performance.
4. Try to minimise the use of memory consuming addons.
5. refrain from using external camera views when taxing to gat, landing or when on final.A purchase worth noting:
Try purchasing the taboo as it helps a ton, not only for the BA787 but for other aircrafts in general.
