1.8 Update
Added 13 new liveries, most with the correct interior colors
All airlines have optimized versions (no cabin seats and use low-sized textures).
United Airlines has a clean version for TUI and Air Canada as well.
New General Electric and Rolls Royce fan blades were added to reflect the real aircraft.
The fuselage geometry on the rear and nose was reworked and replaced to reflect the real aircraft.
The beacon light bounce effect on the wing was reworked and replaced to reflect the rear aircraft.
Fixed stabilizer animation angle.
Updated the General Electric MFD EICAS for a correct representation of the engine type.
Updated wiper model.
Update engine art.
Gears are a bit cleaner (to real world engineer standards.)
New gear blur textures.
New rotating fan blade art.
Stable fan blade animations.
Updated some textures inside the aircraft and cockpit and removed excessive textures from the package.
Updated ka/ku band (SATCOM, WIFIetc) model to reflect the real aircraft
Updated beacon light model to reflect the real aircraft.
Updated the sound package for callouts to be louder.
Engine condensation was removed until you can toggle effects.
The cockpit screen smudge was removed until improved art returned.
Our goal was to reach update 2, where the flight model is updated, so the rear gears touchdown accordingly, and keep adding all the new detailed work currently sitting in our hangars but it was impossible due to time constraints.
The negative news: We broke the purple lights in the interior :( sorry. We'll fix it soon. There will be an update 1.9 To fix the ANA JA803A which is missing the optimized version and has texture issues on the tail. The update will be uploaded tomorrow. What else will the update 1.9 include? We'll let you know soon via our website and forum.

Thanks for the update and new skins! Just need Royal Air Maroc now. One big issued I noticed is the RR engines have no Pack/AC sounds while the GE engine skins do have the pack/AC sounds. Also the rear elevator still looks the wrong size or the animation is wrong, the right is bigger the left, I thought that was fixed from the patch notes.
A few other issues, I think the nose gear is too low to the ground, even at empty levels of load. This might be related to the extreme trim and CG levels this plane has compared to the default 787. For example the recommended trim is always at the extreme end of the green band while it should normally be near the middle. The inboard spoilers move up and down too quick when turning the yoke, but the animation is perfect when extending the spoilers.
Vance @AV8OR2024-10-29 02:55:09.193ZWe'll look into this for certain. We are pushing out a 1.9 patch soon, but thank you for informing us of this, as your feedback is much appreciated!
Thank you,

Francis @LeadDeveloper2024-10-30 17:38:06.232Z2024-10-30 23:11:01.481ZWhat was fixed in the rear was just the animation and degrees on how much the stabilizer rotates, not the size of the stabilizer, even though they were compared a few weeks ago in an attempt to fix any size issue.
The stabilizer's size was worked on, but it needs revision. The spoilers move too fast because of your controller or joystick settings. This is the part where you turn to one side, and when you keep turning to the max, the sensitivity pushes the animations super fast.
This can be handled on a deeper update, but it mainly involves basic control settings. As for the nosewheel, please review as many real-world 787-8 taxiing videos and review real-world images, and you will see that this is the standard position.
The default 787-10 is an example of how it shouldn't be. The 787-8 aircraft's CG is well-balanced but needs final changes. Hence, update-2.JustPlanes on YouTube has many examples of how extreme the green band is. If you review 787 cockpit videos, you'll see how similar it is.
