Simbrief profiles for 789
I read a post on your forum that profiles have been adjusted so that the 789 can fly up to 17 hours but I am still getting an error when I try to configure a super long haul. To note, I was able to complete this flight in the PMDG 773. Do I need to manually update the simbrief profiles for the 789 to fly longer distances?
Francis @LeadDeveloper2025-01-21 19:56:58.178ZHi, yes, you'll have to adjust the simbrief accordingly.. The PMDG planes are way more user friendly then the default 787 systems which may be limited but take available features seriously.
I've used PMDG planes, and they are super easy to operate.
Regarding the BA787,
Simbrief gives you the basic route but does not know when to take away cargo. Those long haul flights don't carry much freight. A balance should be considered.I want to do the 17 hour flight on twitch I'm just looking for the right day.
Thanks Francis. Yep I know that I need to reduce cargo in order to fly longer but you mentioned that the simbrief profiles have been adjusted so do I need to upload them from somewhere or are the updated profiles already in simbrief?

Additional information:
The updated aircraft had weight and balance readjusted to match the simbrief changes. Judging from the screenshot your payload is high. Consider removing 14,000KG of payload combined with freight. That should do the trick. Also, consider flying to the maximum altitude at mid flight when the plane is lighter.
