    Hi Francis,

I am getting this error when using the 788 in MSFS 2024. I saw CptCanada was also having the same issue on one of his streams using MSFS 2020.

I am using the correct simbrief profile when setting up my flight.

    Can you assist?

    1. Hi I can assist.

I wil troubleshoot GSX in 2024 with the Dreamliners hopefully this Sunday.

Thanks Francis. Do I need to download a new profile for the aircraft or is the updated profile already selectable in simbrief?

              1. In simbrief

The updated profile has been updated. Also select the one from BravoAirspace.

                    Thanks Francis!

What was the issue stopping this from working initially?

                    1. GSX on each update chooses to read the file from different locations,.

Can you please confirm it works well for you?

Thanks Francis. I will try this out when I next have the sim on.

On another note, is there anyway to change lbs to kg in the efb?

                          1. Only via the game settings. I've received this request many times but I've put it on the side because it takes a lot of man hour and right now I'm half in a new project. And so, I need all man-power on the future meanwhile I work on elements I can personally handle.

Hi Francis, this is still an issue. Looking at your screenshot above again and I can see you have updated the 789. My issue is with the 788

                    1. Hi,
Did you utilize the current version of the gsx profile for the 787-8?
                      https://bravoairspace.net/downloads

                      order it should be: Virtuali>Airplanes>GE>GSX>8>GSX

When these profiles are made, they end up inside ANOTHER folder which is one layer below the normal. You can try with GSX-profile before the [8] folder.

No I didn't download any updated profile. I did ask in a previous comment if I needed to and you didn't say yes but it was probably a miscommunication. I will give this a go and make sure the structure is correct.

                                  Hello,

Were you able to fix the gsx solution? Francis was going over the current gsx profile and reported back to me that it's working correctly and wanted to check on your status.

                                              1. At the moment, is very hard to determine what your issue is because typically, shifting files helps.

Can help but GSX has to be restarted and or removed entirely. It's very hard to know what else to do in your situation because before this would help pilots.

What can be useful here is to delete the entire BA787 GSX profiles from the Virtuali folder. Start GSX. Load the plane. The exit the game and close it. Reinstall the GSX profiles and start the game. Load the airport and see what happens. GSX has been extremely complicated with this aircraft. But so far this profile has been very stable.
