787-9 UPDATE 4.7 version (1.2.0) SEPTEMBER 4th 2025
(do not update if you haven't done so)
We updated the light effects so the flare won't be visible at night in MSFS 2024.
Also, Qantas + Norse received interior elements.
Soon after the release of the update, we received several emails about [dead screens].
And so we quickly started to investigate with other users.
What we found was that after removing the 787-8 from our game and testing the 787-9 independently, we found the issue and fixed it. The fix was submitted on the morning of September 5th. Meanwhile, on the same day, we asked Microsoft if they could revert to the previous version ASAP they replied with a possible no.
We'll have to keep an eye on the process to get it to you guys ASAP!
Look out for version 1.2.1.
To our worst luck, the staff that handles processing for the marketplace has been absent since last Friday, which is irregular. Making this hotfix more challenging to get to you, guys.
We strongly apologize for this issue and for grounding the 789.*

when the loading problem of the 787-9 can be fixed? I have looked it for a long time
Max @TechnicalAssistantCan you please explain the loading problem?
- KKUN你太美 @KUNKUN
The payload of the 787-9 is wrong. I raised this issue back in May. Currently, the MZFW of this 787-9 model is 161 tons, which is the MZFW of the 787-8. The MZFW for the 787-9 should be 181 tons. Moreover, the MTOW is also incorrect, being only 237 tons.
Max @TechnicalAssistantOn the 787-9, give me a flight sample? Because we had to double-check this data yesterday. Only the empty weight is off.
- KKUN你太美 @KUNKUN
OK, I will send some photos to you about the 787-9 payload, can I send it through Discord or support?
Max @TechnicalAssistantSend it to me through here or our email at support@bravoairspace.net
- KKUN你太美 @KUNKUN
OK, later will be sent

Francis @LeadDeveloper2025-09-22 15:32:47.077ZI’m going to look into this starting today.
I’m concern and I can roll out a fix before update 5. - In reply toKUNKUN⬆:
Francis @LeadDeveloper2025-09-20 13:56:44.572ZKun,
We will get to it. I'm sorry for the delay.

When is the 787-8 going to get the updates as well? It's the only plane I fly and I've been waiting for months.
Max @TechnicalAssistantRight after update 5 for the 787-9.
We are actually re-doing some 3d work for both planes.
We have some new surprises that might get some of you guys excited. And it's all free. Our answers should remain vague for now.

Still having black screens. Also, you never fixed the windshield lighting issue. 🙄
Max @TechnicalAssistantWindshield issue was resolved. Please update the plane. When do you get the black screens?
- K@KAPA_Flyer
In 2024, the Windshield issue has not been resolved, otherwise I wouldn't have brought it up.
The Black Screen issue is from the last update (1.2.1?)
Max @TechnicalAssistantHi, black screen issue was in 1.2.0.
Black screen issue was resolved in 1.2.1.
Can you please show us a screenshot of the windshield issue using the 787-9 1.2.1 in MSFS 2024.
- K@KAPA_Flyer
Max @TechnicalAssistantOk. Saw them,
Please tell me if you can uninstall it. Clear cache. And enable it (stream it only) and test again.
Everyone who contacted us with the previous issue is now back to normal.- K@KAPA_Flyer
Ok, my sincere apologies. I was in SU4 Beta, I left that and it seems to have fixed it.
Perhaps now we know SU4 could bring issues with the aircraft.
Francis @LeadDeveloper2025-09-18 18:55:10.896ZI hate it when that happens. They always turn something off. Thanks!
- In reply toKAPA_Flyer⬆:
Max @TechnicalAssistantThank you for the heads up. Very important information.

Again, the Black Screen was not resolved. As a matter of fact, the plane won't even power up. External Power, Battery. Nothing works.

The update is now on the marketplace as of my latest login to the sim at 12:40p Central. It works for me.

Max @TechnicalAssistantThank you guys!
In reply toLeadDeveloper⬆:Francis @LeadDeveloper2025-09-11 16:32:20.066ZUpdate is releasing today!!!
@CowboyEdu
In reply toLeadDeveloper⬆:Max @TechnicalAssistantHot fix coming. Already processing at Microsoft.
🥺- CEduardo Santos @CowboyEdu
Hi there!
Any news from Microsoft?
In reply toLeadDeveloper⬆:Max @TechnicalAssistantWe are waiting on Microsoft. Our luck has worsened because the guy who processes products to the marketplace hasn't been in the office since Friday. He hasn't come in today.
- JIn reply toLeadDeveloper⬆:Jonysf @Jonysf40
I have the 787-9 and it worked on Xbox Series X with the version prior to 1.2.0. When did they release the fix patch? I just saw that it's still on 1.2.0.
Max @TechnicalAssistantI uploaded the patch 5 hours ago. I was trying to get someone to help me process it but no luck. We'll have to wait for Microsoft to release it next week patiently.
In reply toLeadDeveloper⬆:Francis @LeadDeveloper2025-09-05 12:55:57.393Z2025-09-05 14:00:40.579ZWe apologize tremendously for this issue. Anyone without the 787-8 installed, their 787-9 will remain grounded, unfortunately, until either I get assistance from Microsoft or they upload the fix.
