Landing Light Issue

This on the 787-8 and whenever you turn on I think the left landing light I am not sure. It is like a flashbang it does not smoothly turn on. When you press it everything goes white outside for a second. Also I mean this is just a little thing but if it possible in the -8 to add like a fade on to the systems starting up. I do not really like when you press the battery the cdu and nd instantly go bright. I think it should be dark then when you start the external power it brightens up in like a fade on effect instead of instantly.
