CPDLC?
Just wondering if CPDLC would ever be added to the Boeing 787-9/8. Or if it's ever been considered.

Just like many other upgrades, CPDLC has been considered. But I think Francis (lead developer) is going to pause any system upgrades for the Dreamliners, as there are other standalone aircraft that need full focus.

I mean - I know 8’m being little annoying but this update 5 has now been on waiting for weeks, with the devs just saying soon soon soon. The Website only says “we are working as of november”? Like how are we supposed to know if it’s coming or not??? please we need more regular updates. Or some discord in my opinion, where we could get some monthly report. It doesn’t need to have any other stuff. 😀

Well, just like everything we say comes out, it will. As mentioned in another post, I had issues with the lighting bleeding out of the aircraft. It's a much more labor-focused task. We are using a new method, and since this is a mod that doesn't give us full access to the interior (unless we spend a large amount of time experimenting or simply making our own systems).
Plus, I had to work on new 3d models that weren't part of the plan.Please feel free to summon me so you can check the status. Discord isn't as productive as I would like. We have email and forum support :)

Please add CPDLC to this; it's a feature that is used by many more of us than you may think, especially for us Vatsim users. The 78 family deserve it. <3
Max @TechnicalAssistantWe have a guy on our team who can do this. BUT, he's been working with us lightly ever since he started a full-time job.
We'll try to see if we can deliver that.
