Update When?
Hi, I've been a longtime customer of the 787 series. I bought the -8 when it came out, but nowadays I'm really disappointed at the progression this project is making. The EFB remains buggy, with most clicks doing nothing, and like many others, I feel that the promised update is progressing painfully slowly. Anyways, I still believe that this project has so much potential and would be more than willing to test the update (wink, wink).

If you are interested in the EFBv2 update-5 then the best news I can say (as the only person in this team who packs up projects) is that U5 is right after the upcoming update (U4.9).
How long will it take for U5?
I have to assemble another project in February (after u4.9) and make sure that one is in working order. It can take a couple of weeks, maybe even less.
But right after that, once everything for that product is fine to walk away from, I can slap on the new EFBv2 and export the new animations. Once that's done and it's all checked out then we'll upload and release. I will be needing a week to pack it up and then find any issues and make adjustments (just like in all updates, because many things break!)
Of course, I'm pushing aside some other elements I'd like to add just to get that working. There is a list of fixes that many detailed observers have reached out to me about that I will tackle after U5.So now you all know the plan! I'm human like the rest of you, and so with the right amount of working hours, we can make it happen asap.
Right now, I don't need testers, but I do want to hire experienced developers I can trust with deep expertise in flight simulator development workflows. These guys, I basically approach, but no luck at the moment. But thank you for your offer.
