A few questions to be honest
Goodday everybody and im happy I found this forum.
Since recently a happy owner of the 787-9 , I play on xbox and thus far I am very happy with the product.
There are some things I encountered and have put them in an email already but was wondering if anyone else having this also.
When I ask for catering , the plane crashes while still at the gate. It doesn't matter if I ask trough the tablet or the ATC, the outcome is the same. anyone else has this?
I keep having a yellow warning FD Door Lock Fail, I can still fly and my doors are closed as I can see from the outside , but the message doesn't go away. Maybe it thinks Im still loading passengers because asking to stop boarding doesn't help, The jetway moves away but the boarding doesn't stop ( I can tell because I can give the request to stop boarding still )
My other questions is more a wishlist , but hopefully this will also be taken in consideration.
First question is will there be an update soon that makes the BAEFB more working, with a take off and landing performance calculator?
My second question and I so hope this will be achievable, can this plane become native and have passengers visual on board ? For me they don't have to look like full real 4K but it would already be a delight to see the cabin with passengers. I don't have an option for GSX or something because I am on xbox, so it would be amazing if that can be done trough the tablet or the atc panel.
To close off, thank you very much for reading this and I hope I will get an answer and I know that " no" is also an answer so if something can't be done, so be it.
I love this airplane and I am very happy I bought it! And im looking forward to the Eva Air livery!

I just like to hear experiences / tips / problems from people that enjoying the plane same as me and take the effort and time to be here on the forums.

If you ever seen the number of negative things we've received from people who are unable to explain their issues... It's sad.I always welcome detailed criticism. I never expected all of this for the 787 mod. I thought people weren't going to be so interested in the Dreamliners. But it pushes us to keep giving back the right way. And we are happy to do so.
Regarding crashing, I would advise deactivating the crash settings.
If you leave your crash settings On, then this will continue to happen until the plane becomes 2024 native.FD Door Lock Fail; we haven't seen this on our end.
BAEFB will become BAEFB-Boeing I believe I'm jumping on to this after this upcoming update.
It's why we have worked on more elements, so I can go straight to the new EFB, where you'll control more items.
The performance calculator at the moment can be found in the TAKE OFF page of the FMC. And it already exists in the Boeing-BAEFB that will be released.Passengers sitting in the plane for the 2024 native hasn't been tested just yet.
But if it is impossible for this mod, then we'll just inject our own passengers. Yet, i prefer the native 2024 passengers because it will look more balanced.We also love the plane. And honestly, the more system fixes it needs, the more physical work it needs as well. So, the balance is necessary to keep everyone happy, including my conscience.

Thank you for all your answers and I’m happy there is still so much interest in developing more and making the plane better by every update.
I understand it’s all about personal taste but I love the Dreamliners , I’m not that interested in Airbus. It would be great if you could make something like the Embraer 170-175 ,those planes also look great, or maybe a Max8.I will try the crash settings off , I haven’t been able to have a decent amount of time to spend on the sim with 3 daughters, a wife and a job.
I’m looking forward to the updates and hopefully they are available soon but I do understand , although I don’t understand anything about writing code , that things take time and I am happy to wait a little longer then a quick update that needs another update to fix things 😉
Thank you for your time to answer and if you like I could sent a photo of the door lock fail but I’m not quite sure if that will make the problem solvable because we don’t know what’s causing it. I tried everything with opening and closing doors through the baefb and the ATC panel. And I think somewhere it’s not responding correct because the doors do close but the lock doesn’t work I think.

What I've been seeing is a high demand for more fixes and upgrades on the 787 family. And I've decided to proceed with all these demands.
I think it would be wise to do as much as possible in order to increase the realism for the Dreamliner's mod.As for a MAX and a E170, The idea for a MAX is great but our man-power is focused on another heavy metal which is planned to be high fidelity (not an Airbus). Yet, a medium hauler (MAX,etc) would had been the way to go honestly. It's a bit late but will see what's possible behind the scenes.
The Embraer 170 has been released by FlightSim Studio. I hear positive things. But that doesn't discourage us from making our own version of any other aircraft. We enjoy catering to the console warriors because I grew up as a console player and I find it to be much more fun when I make flights on the X vs PC.
I guess it's because the PC is my workstation.I think it would be wise for us to make a post where people can add their requests. This way I don't have to fetch around the entire forum.

I’m also a pretty old console user starting from PlayStation 1 and after that all the Xbox.
You do make me curious what that “heavy metal “ is now 👀. A 747 would have to compete with the upcoming 747 from PMDG, which will not be that easy when you see the number of enthusiasts for that brand.
But you sure have my attention if it will be a 777 😍.
They do make nice products but there’s 2 things and that’s the price and the absence of “goodies” for Xbox players because the Xbox can’t handle all that. ( I am so hoping for the new Xbox that will change, saving up lready to buy that 😉 )
The Embraer 170-175 really is a cool airplane ( also the 190 freighter) , but not native 2024 also and I’ve reached out to them and they advised me not to buy the 2020 to play in 2024 but wait.
About your idea for the requests , that can be a very good idea but I would , if I was you, make a list of planes that you know can be done and then make a poll where people can make a choice , or maybe 2 choices if that’s possible in a poll.For now, I’m just loving every minute in the 787-9 and the updates will only make it better.

What do u mean? They have been pushing it for months now... it's not for the 3 weeks only? We have been waiting a long time with the devs just saying yes we are working on this and then when we ask when its coming out they just say 2 weeks 3 weeks 1 week what ever... that is not how it is supposed to work. Sorry, I've paid money - I expect.

I understand your disappointment but you have to understand that coding and making things bug free can be a time consuming project.
Of course we all like to get things better , whether we paid 20 or 80 euros but it’s not just an on/off switch.
Just try to enjoy what you have now 😬

I'm going to do this update correctly. What this means is that after the current one is released the upcoming one is Update 5.
I've delayed this because I don't think is worth releasing just a livery and some fixes-update. I want to catch up to the ultimate goal.I understand some of you guys want an update ASAP but I need to make sure that update 5 is released! It's a win-win scenario for both sides. Our sides and yours too.

Fixing a list of things people have asked and updating a list of things I've had myself. Closing in the labor between both update, 4.9 and 5.No, we are not seating around staring at the ceiling, we are actually working on these planes.
Sounds, visuals, systems, a little bit of everything. Most important it's time to move on towards the ultimate goal, becoming 2024 native.
This has to happen asap. But updating these machines, bit by bit is not working out. These updates need to be a bit more powerful. And I hope it's significant to some of you.Once this update is released, i will hear from you guys and focus on what's priority but U5 needs to be released and so this unfortunately has kept you guys waiting for too long.

I have more projects that I have to focus on and delaying the Dreamliner upgrades isn't what we like dealing with. And so, if you understand, I have to make things right with these 'liners before focusing on other products.Why does it take so long?
I'm making sure that the new changes don't circle back at a negative cycle. Meaning, the new art techniques and changes are placed in and resemble the real workhorse. And that when it's released it will not have massive errors and things missing. There's been optimizations, and there's been remodeling involve from our team member.The livery update could had been released in January but this package needs a large amount of upgrades.
I see our own work like if I'm a customer. As I'm a customer of other products. I love these planes more than anyone I know, so my intentions are to make something at least amazing to the eyes and ears.And please don't forget that I'm not charging anyone coffee for it.
