Cockpit is missing textures
Hey all, I just downloaded the update on the 787-9, and noticed I missed textures on the liveries first. I found out that you need to apparently stream it which I did. The liveries look normal no thankfully, although I just saw that my cockpit is missing its textures. Can someone help me fix this?
Francis @LeadDeveloper2026-03-14 12:15:14.221ZHi,
This is becoming more frequent with the game.
It's not an us issue but a download/stream problem.
Many of us can stream complete plane.Do this,
remove the plane. Clear cache. Reset console, load game and ENABLE the 787.Let us know how it went.
Alright, I'll try that later. I do have another question. I recently saw that by the end of this week, we might get an update about the 787-8 and -9 becoming 2024 native. Is this true?
Max @TechnicalAssistantHi,
By the end of the month, we have to finish and upload the next updates, but not the native 2024 one.
Native 2024 update is due hopefully before the beginning of summer.- JJonathan Martínez @jmartin3z
But he @LeadDeveloper said before summer in a post...

Hey, which cache exactly do you mean in this case?
Thanks
Max @TechnicalAssistantHello!
Regarding the marketplace download or next update?
Chayton Battles @geo003Here’s a few bugs I found in the 787s
Jetway triggers airplane crash.
(787-8 & 9)VS nose dives the plane violently and pitches back up violently.
(787-8 & 9)Over speed alarm goes off for no reason.
(Both 787s)Plane moves up and down constantly for no reason when at cruise altitude.
(787-8 & 9)Texture Issues with 787-9.
When on takeoff with both 787’s the pull-up delays almost ending with a runway overrun.
Max @TechnicalAssistantHi Chayton,
Regarding the jetway: when it makes contact with other aircraft in the simulator, you’ll notice that the planes don’t actually collide or crash. That behavior is controlled by an internal MSFS setting rather than anything specific to the aircraft itself.
As for the VS “no dives and pitch” behavior, what you’re seeing is consistent with the Dreamliner’s automatic trim logic. When airspeed increases, the system will naturally command a slight nose‑up tendency, and when the aircraft is too slow, it will pitch down to maintain stability. This is an intentional, real‑world feature that has been modeled in the sim.
If you’re experiencing texture issues—such as pink or missing textures—the best approach is to uninstall the aircraft, clear your rolling cache, restart the simulator, then re‑enable the aircraft in your content library. MSFS 2024 has a known technical issue affecting textures on certain products, so this process usually resolves it.
For the takeoff delay warnings, that typically indicates the aircraft isn’t fully configured for departure. There are several possible causes, from incomplete FMC setup to missing configuration steps. We have a dedicated section on our website that walks through proper aircraft operation and setup, which you may find helpful:
