Can we still not control the doors?
Loading into the 788 for the first time in months and I'm shocked that the update to be able to control the doors had still not been released. Am I missing something?

It's finally going to be released. The only reason it has taken very long is because we've kept updating the physical models. And since we make it all from scratch, our modeler has made a large amount of complex parts for the fleet, including the doors.Do you have a date marked for release? I am a huge fan of your work, don't get me wrong, I've been a supporter since the days of default a 320 neo liveries in 2020 however I've been hoping for this update for a year perhaps..? I also remember a mention of working on the wheel animation at touchdown, is this still planned and if so how far a long are you?

When we started the big update, we had external vehicles ready for spawn, a new EFB to control numerous elements in and out of the aircraft and new animations with improvements... But months ago I met an amazing modeler who has redone the interior, redone the doors, and they look realistic as they should.
Many other rework has been done as well. Like I always say, we mainly operate with custom work minus two classes of passengers seats which are from the 787-10v2.
And so, if I had the chance to keep upgrading and improving it's a plus for us all.
And so last week I received the new doors which I have to animate (takes 2 business days tops). The 787-8 will have the EFB that controls the doors and a bit more...
The wheels will touch the ground...FINALLY.How far are we I don't know. Can't give specifics.
