inibuilds A320 v2 - Small Hatch?

    Hi Guys,
    Can anyone point the figure and tell me what this small hatch thing is that's open on the new inibuilds A320? I thought it might be something to do with the APU but its even open when taking off.

    1. Hi there,
      That’s for the Pack air circulation.
      Basically the cabin pressurization outflow valve. It opens prior to/post takeoff and landing respectively.

      Hope this clarifies your question.

            This is actually the outflow valve. It’s how the aircraft controls pressurisation of the cabin.

            On the ground it will be fully open. As the aircraft climbs to cruising altitude it will slowly close restricting the air leaving the cabin and there for pressure in the cabin is maintained at what the pressure is at 7000ft.

                    Also during a ditch there’s a button on the overhead. If this is pressed all external valves will close not that we are going to be using the ditch button much.
