BA 788 & SimBrief
Hi all! I'm yet to buy the new 787 until I have more information to go off of. Could anyone tell me if the new 787 features simbrief integration as standard as with other dreamliners in the sim? Thanks!
- TTomas cole @Tomascole
Simbrief integration will be coming with an update very soon hope this helps
Cool - any idea of when the full suite of features of AAU3 will be made available? When will that update be released?
Francis @LeadDeveloper2024-05-25 18:12:17.084ZIt will be added this weekend and uploaded to Microsoft Seattle so they can upload it ASAP.
Francis @LeadDeveloper2024-05-31 23:45:12.827ZCorrect.
Hi Francis,
based on your most recent comment, I've gone ahead and bought the aircraft. However, unlike your assurance that the latest update brought simbrief integration, I have found that it does not. Is there a way to get a refund?
Thanks.

Mate, just wait for a few weeks and sim brief will come…
Microman,
I don't appreciate being lied to by a developer. If he says a feature is included, it should be included.
Honesty goes a long way in business.
- TTomas cole @Tomascole
Care to explain how you've been lied to??
- LLeo Scannaliato @Leos1238118
He said it’s going to be included in the update coming THIS WEEK just wait a few days then the update should roll out and you will have simbrief integration.
Leo,
Upon inspection of the timeline of this thread, you will see that the initial exchange occured eight days ago.
The use of the acronym "ASAP" indicates a level of expeditiousness in uploading. How you can be aware of when the update is due to be is unclear.
On addition to explaining how you received such information about the release of the update, maybe you could also explain your yelling of "THIS WEEK"? 🙂

The marketplace version history shows a version that includes a reference to the inclusion of Simbrief integration. Whilst some may say that this indicates a planned feature, the definition of the term "history" leads the average person to believe that this is a current feature included with the aircraft and has been added with a previous modification to the product.
This loops in with @francisjohannes statement confirming the inclusion of Simbrief integration in the "update".
The fact of the matter is that I was misinformed about the features of the aircraft, prompting me to purchase it. Given the misinformation given by Bravo Airspace, it is clear to see that I have been lied to, to which I am most displeased.

I honestly think you are looking for an argument. What happens if you get a refund, then the plane gets updated, will you buy it again, or what?

Vance @AV8OR2024-06-02 17:48:06.459ZGood afternoon, for your information, Francis has sent it out to Microsoft already. It's in Microsoft's hands at this time, meaning that it's out of Francis's control. The entire BravoAirspace team is hoping for a release this week.
In regards to your statements about being "lied" to, you were not misinformed. Francis simply stated "It will be added this weekend and uploaded to Microsoft Seattle so they can upload it ASAP." Like I mentioned at the beginning of this message, once it's sent off to Microsoft, our staff team has zero control over when it will be released. You asked a question, and you received an answer. We do apologize if you perceived it as a lie, but the fact of the matter is that we simply answered your question to the best of our ability with the knowledge we currently have.
Finally, we do understand your annoyance, but please try and keep your comments as respectful as possible when replying to other individuals on this forum.
We apologize if there was any miscommunication on our, part, but hopefully this clears some things up.

Francis @LeadDeveloper2024-06-02 20:46:49.239ZI apologize. I did not mean to confuse you.

What else will be included with this update.
Francis @LeadDeveloper2024-06-02 20:46:25.261ZThe update will include 11 more liveries.
External lights are viewable from a distance.
Simbrief integration.
Interior fixes.
No cabin option. The release of the update is on Microsoft's hands. I will contact them to see if they can be release as soon as possible.
I didn't meant to confuse anyone. But what I meant to say was that the update was going to be uploaded on a certain day.
Anton @notnanWhy do we have to wait for Microsoft? Can't you guys just give us an installer or a link to update the aircraft? :( Microsoft can wait for 2 months if they want... I don't like waiting on them lol
James @RevThe 787 is only available on marketplace therefore you can’t update anywhere but the marketplace
Anton @notnanYeah, makes sense I guess.

Will ZFW entry also be added? I think that's what's messing with my VNAV
Francis @LeadDeveloper2024-06-08 19:02:54.903ZEverything the default has should be available on this Update.
