Lowered Nose Gear in Newest Update
Hello,
Since the latest update, the nose of the 8 and the 9 sits noticeably lower on the ground than it did before. The nose gear strut now looks far too short, and the landing light on the nose gear is partially blocked by the fuselage and gear doors, which makes it useless at night.
I've attached screenshots for comparison:
Pre-update: nose gear at its previous, correct height
Post-update, daytime: nose visibly lower, strut compressed
Post-update, night: the nose gear landing light is completely obstructed
As you can see, the change in nose gear height is substantial. I've also tried adjusting fuel and payload across a range of loads and it makes no difference as
the nose sits low regardless of weight.
Could you please look into the nose gear strut height / ground stance? It looks like something in the strut extension or contact points changed with this update.
Thank you,
Francis @LeadDeveloperThis is an issue I had and It will be fixed. The struts had to be raised to meet the door level. But the lights aren't visible. The lights do light up the path; they aren't blocked by the airframe, but you don't see them at night.
Please don't stress it will get revised.
