Elevator trim after A/P disconnect
It appears when on finals with the 787-8 when you disconnect autopilot the aircraft wants to pitch upwards.
Can this be fixed. ?
Someone reported it to me.
I believe I had a similar issue coming into Alicante although I landed ok and corrected it.

Maybe adjust the trim. you can set the trim (up) and (down) shortcut buttons on your controller or joystick in MSFS setting.

Yes but when AP is disconnected the trim should remain the way you left it. And not pitch up. Still to test this as fs isn’t working just now

I’ll show you it in a video when I next fly it :) x
D Hudson @Dee318It’s a coding glitch that’s been around for a while now! Every since Working Title started working on the 787-10 and the 747-8 the trim pitch upwards has been an issue. I don’t have that issue with the Bravo 788. But I did have a similar issue today for the first time when it did pitch up. But it’s not been consistent like it is with the Asobo -10. Do you have auto trim on?
Francis @LeadDeveloper2024-06-15 14:16:16.465ZI think Matt explains this way better than me. But this happens for a reason.

It only happens after disconnect of the autopilot when established on glide slope. Not during flight but I’ll have a read Thankyou

Auto trim should defo be off. I’ve not experienced from what I recall in my last flight but another user has. Will check it out again tomorrow when I fly

So I looked at this today and there was barely any pitch up if any. After disconnecting autopilot the 787-8 continued as trimmed.
So not entirely sure what this customer was doing. But it’s fine for me
