STUTTERS & BLACK SCREEN

By Francesco @Frans

    Hello guys!

I text you as tonight something quite weird happened. I departed from Barcelona (LVFR add on) with the A320 V2 Vueling “Eurovision 2022 livery”.

After having switched the plane on, I started having a lot of stutters at gate and then black screens during pushback.

It really felt weird as I have LEBL by LVFR since much and never had a single problem; so I was thinking if it may be the livery but I don’t think so…

I was always thinking about the fact that next week we gonna have an update of the V2 so probably they’re updating the plane and it may have some issues now…

      Hello Frans,
The stuttering has nothing to do with the livery. You can try the following methods, and see if it changes anything for you:

      Delete MSFS rolling cache.
      Exit MSFS.
Delete NVIDIA Shader chache files (google to find where they are located)
      Launch MSFS.
      Rebuild the Rolling Cache.
      Test.

If you aren't on PC, then I would suggest just trying to delete MSFS rolling chache and going from there, or press and hold the Xbox button, and restart your console. It's a known issue on Xbox and PC as well, if none of those troubleshooting methods work, I would suggest reaching out to Zendesk for further assistance.

In regards to the black screens, it's also a known issue for console and PC. Add-ons can have a significant impact on your sims performance. Whether it be: choice of aircraft, scenery, etc. You can try and reboot/restart the console and game and see if that helps. In addition, restarting MSFS during flights where you're using "resource intensive" add-ons or between long flights may improve/help limit your encounters with black screens. Finally, if you're not using features like: ATC, AI, or live traffic, then disable them, as they impact the overall performance on your sim.

(**Note:**big airports: KJFK, KATL, KLAX, etc. can contribute to users experiencing black screens as well. Please keep this in mind when planning future flights or areas that you will be flying around/into.)

      Thank you for reaching out,
      BravoAirspace Team

Hi Francesco, good to see you back.
I think it's best for us to use 4 K only on the A320v2, as some are in 8 K. The Neo V2 is too heavy on PCs and Xbox, and it consumes too much memory. Could we try that same airport with another livery?

4K is perfect I think Francis!! Your livery are already very detailed and super nice! Today a new update for the V2 is out and it should bring more stability as well from what I’ve heard! Thanks for the support ❤️🙏

                    Dear Francis,

I noticed that on Thursday there has been an update regarding your economy class bundle liveries pack for the A320neo V2. It’s the update that has brought them to 4K isn’t it? Tonight I flew with your Lufthansa D-AIJA, and it was extremely smooth. Yes, the quality of texture has decreased just a bit (I think especially on the cockpit buttons that are connected to the FMC); but it’s worth it: super smooth.

Sorry if I ask u here, but I know u guys are the best: are the liveries of 4Simmers also on 4K or it’s 8K (talking about the V2)

                    1. Hello Frans,
Thank you for your feedback, as it is much appreciated! In regards to 4simmers, I believe it's 4k, but I could be mistaken.

                      Thank you,
                      BravoAirspace

Hi Francesco, I think their textures are 4k, too. Most likely, in order to compete in the "quality arena," they modded the aircraft to represent smaller logos and art that looked nice and sharp. I believe they did it from the get-go, which gave them an advantage.
We didn't do it initially because I'm the only person in our company who does modeling work and integration. But right now, I have the chance to improve.
I need to let go of some heavy work at the moment and I did assign it to someone else but the person hasn't responded. Thank you for the feedback. 8K is a big no-no for games, specially a simulator.

                2. Progress
                  with handling this problem
