Wrapping up 2025 ✌️
This is my attempt to write a "formal" thank-you—apologies for the rambling.
Thank you all for your support. Your help, patience, and communication have pushed us to do more.
BravoAirspace is run by human beings. And so even though we failed to reach many goals this year, 2025,
from this point on, we will work as hard as possible
to be amazing. We’ve learned (the hard way) how to release a functional aircraft for Flight Simulator.
But we’ll push ourselves to improve and learn how to be the developer you guys need.
**Quality product. **
I’m interested in releasing add-ons that work well and don't pass issues to the user.
This is something I want BravoAirspace to focus on.
Updates, patches, big releases, they all need to be treated equally. This is our main focus.
And so I would like to publicly state that we don’t wish to display more up-to-date roadmaps or progress.
We will simply release. No more specific dates will be given. (Unless it’s work that has been done and is ready.)
These types of announcements come around and hurt us. Many people have become frustrated. And we don’t want it to be like this. I’m a simmer myself.
And I love aviation in general. And I appreciate a working add-on.
And so I understand it when most of you guys are asking about a release date.
I know it’s mainly excitement and passion speaking out loud. And maybe frustration,
too, but mostly anxiety to get those things you want asap. We get you.
And so, we will attempt to focus on quality. And not feel pressured to release any
update unless it’s an emergency patch.
**The future of the Dreamliners. **
The Dreamliner family, a mod (modification, modified) of an aircraft, this saga will be our last mod.
Why do I mention it? Because I receive many tempting requests to improve the 787 systems. Unfortunately, most of these requests had to be turned down.
Time and funding for these upgrades are in short supply. Half the time, developers take too long or simply disappear. This causes delays, especially for something
like update-4/5. This is why, this year, for the first time, I’ve trained a 3D artist with whom we work together on the 787 new liveries, and he has done a great job;
meanwhile, I’ve hired multiple modelers who are very good at their jobs as well. This gives me the opportunity to learn how to develop avionic work, make modest
changes, and improve animation, without waiting for outside hires to complete the task on their schedule. And to add, all requests and ideas I approve are written
on a to-do list. I listen, and I assign those tasks. Tasks take longer than others, but the ambition to complete them always remains. And for these Boeings, we can’t afford to keep any work
pending.
**Future. **
The team is focused on upcoming projects, but I’m focused on completing and assembling the announced fleet updates.
Dreamliners might get a system overhaul down the line, in secret. But it’s not guaranteed. Expect an update for the Boeing planes in January.
It will include small fixes to the systems, all available liveries for each plane, sound fixes, and other improvements. Thank you for your time.
Thank you all for sticking with us. Thank you for your patience and trust.
